From the day we opened The Edge Photography, our focus has been on giving people an experience where they feel understood, guided, and genuinely valued. Over the years, we’ve seen how this brings out something real in every session. That is our purpose, creating images with depth and meaning, shaped by an approach that’s calm, personal, and quietly confident.
What matters most is understanding people. Their stories, their struggles, their connections, the things that make their lives uniquely theirs. When we started The Edge Photography, we didn’t want it to feel like a typical photography studio. We want it to feel personal where the experience is just as meaningful as the final images, and where people walk out feeling a little different than when they arrived.

We take our time, we listen, and we create an environment where people can relax, open up, and simply be themselves. Some of the best portraits we’ve ever taken happened in the quiet in-between moments the laugh after a joke, the breath before a pose, the way someone looks at the person they love. Those are the moments that stay with you.
For us, the artwork we create isn’t just decoration on a wall. It’s a reminder of who you are, what you’ve lived, and who you love. That’s why we built The Edge Photography to turn fleeting moments into something that lasts, something that becomes part of a family’s story long after the session is over. And every time someone sees themselves in one of our portraits and feels proud, stronger, or more connected, We’re reminded why we started this journey in the first place.
For me, photography has never been just about beautiful images. It’s about understanding people, reading subtle moments, and crafting an experience that reveals something honest and unforgettable. That deeper connection, that moment when someone recognises their own strength, love, or individuality is what fuels everything we do at The Edge Photography.
I’ve spent the past 27 years immersed in the photography and film world, but my purpose has shifted over time. What began as a passion for making people look good evolved into something far more meaningful: creating experiences that help people feel remarkable.
My creative roots run deep. Growing up in a family of artists taught me to see the world differently, and in my teens, I found early success as a Musical Director signed to East West - Warner Brothers. That world showed me the power of visual storytelling and how imagery, emotion, and narrative can shape the way someone sees themselves.
After years travelling and working alongside leading photography studios and industry producers around the globe, I eventually found my way to Perth in 2014. Here, I set out to create a studio that felt genuinely welcoming and a place where people feel supported, celebrated, and completely themselves.

For me, photography is about preserving feeling, connection, and the quiet moments of beauty that often pass unnoticed. I create timeless imagery and elevated studio experiences defined by calm, connection, and understated luxury spaces where clients feel effortlessly confident and truly seen from the moment they arrive.
Blending artistic vision with technical precision, I approach each session with a refined eye for detail. I am drawn to authentic expression and natural light, capturing moments with sophistication and emotional depth. My background across creative industries ensures a seamless, highly personalized experience where every element from styling to the final curated imagery is beautifully executed.
I hold a particular affinity for working with families and children, gently guiding each interaction so genuine connection can unfold naturally. Whether documenting intimate milestones or creating polished portraiture, my aim is to craft imagery that feels both deeply personal and enduringly timeless. At the heart of my work is a belief that photography should feel as meaningful as it looks honouring your story in a way that remains treasured for generations.

I believe that photography acts as a powerful tool for connection, which is why I make bridging the gap between art and audience a priority in my work. I want to ensure our photographers’ work and creativity reaches the right eyes.
As the Marketing Co-Ordinator for The Edge Photography, I understand the importance of building a brand presence that resonates and engages with the local Perth community. Working for The Edge Photography isn’t just about brand promotion, but about highlighting the unique perspective our photographers bring to every frame.
In my spare time, I enjoy partaking in martial arts training, playing guitar and performing for local amateur theatres, singing for ‘The Silent Deeds’ band, alongside completing my Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Music. I believe staying inspired outside of the office is the key to staying creative inside of it.

I’m a studio assistant with a passion for creating a smooth, welcoming experience for every client who walks through thew door. I often help set up a shoot, keep the studio organized, and support the creative process behind the scenes. I love being part of the energy that brings great images to life. Outside of work, you can usually find me baking in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes. Baking gives me the same satisfaction I get from studio work; attention to detail, creativity, and the joy of making something that people love.
At The Edge Photography, we’ve elevated the portrait process into a curated three-step journey. From a collaborative concept call to a relaxed, professional studio session and a final cinematic reveal, we ensure every detail is handled with precision.
Our goal is to capture the natural, emotive essence of your photo session and transform those fleeting moments into timeless, high-end art for your home.
“From the moment we booked, the team was open and transparent about pricing, which gave us real peace of mind before coming in. When we arrived, they made us feel completely at ease — warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind, especially with our cat, who was treated like a star. The whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable, and we ended up with a beautiful collection of photos and framing options to choose from. Couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!”

After seeing some awesome photos on The Edge Photography social media - I talked myself into trying something a bit out there and push myself to do a boudoir photo shoot. It turned out that I had much more fun than I thought I would. Holly was a great photographer and really made me feel at ease. The pictures she captured are nothing like I have seen of myself before. I’ve been on a long transformation journey and I’m just starting to feel good about myself. The photos are for me and no one else. But I love them and very pleased with myself for pushing myself to do it. If anyone is contemplating it - just go and do it! They are a lovely bunch at The Edge Photography 📸Posted on Cristiana De Giuli (CRISS)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. My husband, two Australian shepherds and I had a photoshoot with Andrew and it was such a cruisy experience. Even though our dogs did not want to cooperate half the time he still managed to get some amazing shots of them and us all together. We absolutely love our little family photos and can not wait to display them in our house.
